Client Success Story
As an e-commerce site, the main goal was to increase conversions and revenue. While sales order sizes varied somewhat, the client generally got large bulk orders of shirts, and so the goal was focused on generating more and more new sales. In order to attain this goal, we had to perform the second goal, which was to increase traffic flow to the website.
The graph below represents the amount of sales (goal completions) over the time frame of November 13 through January 8,
compared to September 17 through November 12, (orange lines). Each time frame is exactly 57 days.
We had a total of 61 sales compared to only 16 in the previous 57 days, which was a 281.25% increase in sales.a
The graph below represents the conversion rate for those sales during the same course of time.
We had a conversion rate of 3.76% compared to 1.07% from the previous 57 days, which was an increase of 252.61%.
The graph below represents the total visits that we had during the same time frame.
As you can see there was an improvement across the board as we had an increase in visits, the number of pages viewed per visit, the average visit duration, and the percent of new visits.
We also see that the bounce rate went down, which means that more people stayed to look around the website once they arrived instead of leaving the website immediately.
In short, our marketing efforts not only lead to more visitors to the website, but more of the right visitors having the right experience on the website to drive a huge spike in sales.
